Search Now has changed!
The Articles/Books and Indexes/Databases parts of Search Now have been updated to reflect the Texas A&M University Libraries web site's new look and feel and to provide new functionality. In keeping with our commitment to listen to your feedback, we think you'll find the new search more aesthetically pleasing and easier to use.
New look and feel
- The interface is now in line with what the Libraries' new website will look like.
- The interface is now more accessible and compliant with many different browsers and operating systems
New functionality
- Improved searching - you can now use quotation marks to tell Search Now to only find that exact phrase.
- New Books search - our new Books set searches more than just the catalogs of the Texas A&M University libraries, now including titles in WorldCat (over 1 billion items in more than 10,000 libraries worldwide) as well as the Center for Research Libraries Catalog.
- Improved results display - your results now display a summary (if available) of the article or book on brief results screen.
- New search facets - now you can narrow your search results by topic, date, subject, author, database, and journal title facets.
